Day 3~ God our Creator

On this third day of our fast, we will be reflecting on God, this time, as out creator. In fact, not only as our creator, but as the creator of the Heaven and the Earth.

In Isaiah 51:15-16 God says this;

"I am the Lord your God; I stir up the sea and make it's waves roar. My name is Lord Almighty! I stretched out the heavens and laid the Earth's foundations..."

Our God is a creative God. He made the vibrant blue skies, the towering mountains, the restless oceans and all nature on Earth.

It is fascinating to think of our creator's mind because only a beautiful mind could have created such picturesque scenes such as the warm sunrise, the soft sandy shore of the ocean and the peaceful night sky, studded with stars and lit gracefully by the moon.

All the beautiful things in nature that we marvel at, including the animals, God created them all.

Not only creating them with beauty, but also with order. Everything in it's season and every season in it's time.
God is also in control of everything; he can stir up the seas and make the waves roar.

The book of Genesis chapter 1 speaks in detail of the things that our Father created; all the things he created, out of nothing!

Isn't our God an amazing being to have thought of this beautiful world that he spoke into being?

This planet only seems to confirm that our God is an awesome God!

Now, if God could create the whole world out of nothing, can you imagine the amazing things that he could do in your life!

Today, I hope to inspire you to increase your faith in your creator knowing that even if you have nothing, God can still create something beautiful out of your life.

And if you have more than nothing, know that he has already started his work in your life and he will undoubtedly see it to completion, just like he created and completed this amazing world.
