Day 1~ Our Omnipotent God

Do you know that God can do anything you ask for and more?

Our God is an omnipotent God, that means that he has unlimited power.

Jeremiah 32:27 states;
"I am the Lord, the God of all people. Nothing is too difficult for me."

In this scripture God is saying, 'I am YOUR God who can do anything.'

This means that whatever it is you might be facing right now, God is bigger, stronger and more powerful.

God himself says in Jeremiah that there is nothing too difficult for him. He is not afraid of what you're afraid of, he is capable of silencing the storms in your life.

Then you may ask, 'Well, if God can help me by silencing the storm, why hasn't he already done so?"

That's because all this time, instead of listening to his voice, you've been entertaining the negative voices playing in your mind; the voices that say, "I'm never going to make it.",  "I'm not as smart or as beautiful or as great as that other person.", "No one will choose me." Or whatever else the enemy may say to try to decieve you in your life.

God has given us free will, that means that you have power over your life. The voices you choose to believe will dictate the direction your story moves in.

 If you keep believing the lies, then you're surrendering your free will to the devil, but if you remember who your God is, you'll find out that what the devil says to you is only one path. 

If you believe his lies, his lies will become the truth, but if you believe in God's truth, the devil's lies will be revealed as lies.

Think about it. Have you ever felt strongly that something bad would happen and then it did?

The reason it happened was because you believed it would.

Next time, try surrendering that thought to God; just tell him and then, forget about it. If what you feared still comes to pass, don't worry, it means that you can benifit from the hardship and your all powerful God will bring you through it better than you were before.

So believe in God, he is omnipotent; all powerful, and he loves you and if you stop believing the devil's lies and start believeing in God's promises, God will change situations in your favor.
