There is a time for everything

Sometimes in life we want things; we want things and we want them now! Lord I want a promotion, I want a partner, I want a friend, I want my child to change, I want my misery to end. We can all relate to the feeling we get when we want something and we don't want to have to wait one day, two weeks or three years for it, we want it now. Truth be told some things we will get them as soon as we pray for them but some things, we're going to have to wait for.
Maybe now isn't the right time, maybe the other person has something to learn before they meet you, maybe God has something even better in store for you. In life, we are going to have a lot of moments where we're going to have to wait for the things that we want.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 states "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens a time to plant and a time to uproot a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time for war and a time for peace."
In effect what is being said is, everything happens in its right time and season. If a tree isn't in its right season, it wouldn't bear fruit,
it's the same way for us, if now isn't the right time, it won't happen.
God has you in the palm of his hands, all your days are numbered, it would serve you well to remember who you are and who your God is. He can do anything and will do anything to protect you and your future.
God's timing is the best timing, we just have to have the courage to wait and everything will fall into place.

Power of Words

What if every negative thing you've ever said, came to pass? What if the negative things you've said about your enemies came to pass, you might be glad about that, but let's just say that every negative thing you've said about your family or yourself came to pass? Then what? What would your life be like then?
Proverbs 18:21 says "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits"
What does that mean exactly? Well it's quite simple, it means that your words have power, the power to make your life better or the power to make your life worse, what you say can make your life happy and fruitful just as it could destroy your life.
Just like your maker, you have the power to bring things to pass, simply, through your words. This is why you must choose your words wisely.
Be careful, your words can have an impact on others as well, start thinking of your words, do you usually speak positively or negatively?
If  you speak negatively (about yourself, or others) , consider your thoughts, maybe you think negatively and try to change that about yourself. Maybe its just the way you see reality? If that is the case I challenge you to see things in a more positive light. Try this, if you feel like saying something negative, give the situation more thought and see if there is anything positive you could say instead.

If you have enemies, you should still try to speak positively about them. Matthew 15:18 says "But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person." Be the better person, if you have nothing good to say, say nothing at all

Speaking positively is not an easy thing to do, in life we face so many challenges, we are bombarded by a roller coaster of emotions, but even though we face difficulty I'd like to challenge you today to start seeing things in a more positive light.
Matthew 12:37 says "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned" Matthew 12:36 says "I tell you, on the day of judgement people will give account for every careless word they speak"
Have you spoken any careless words? gossip, insults, curses, these are all careless words, try to stop these bad habits. Proverbs 29:30 states "Do you see a man who is hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him." I ask you today to take a look at your words, for they reflect not only your heart, but if you don't use them wisely, they can also control your life.
